GOLF COURSE GARDNER BURNED IN LAWN MOWER FIRE SETTLES FOR $2.75 MILLION

Reynaldo Hernandez, a greens keeper at Victoria Country Club in Riverside, was severely burned when the commercial lawn mower he was operating caught on fire. He was burned over much of his body, losing his left leg as a result.

OSHA could not explain how the accident happened, other than to claim that the mower had not been properly maintained by Plaintiff's employer.
