Baby With Brain Injury Resulting From Gynecologist's Negligence Paid Policy Limits

Baby Doe was too big for her tiny mother to deliver. The gynecologist should have known this and ordered a Caesarian section birth. Instead, he tried to deliver the baby with the use of a vacuum.

The baby's shoulder became stuck; shoulder dystocia. As a result oxygen was cut off to the baby's brain and damage occurred.
